Corbin is getting his title shot.
Baron Corbin and Wes Lee met in the main event of NXT on USA Network. During their bout, North American Champion Dominik Mysterio got involved and assisted Corbin to victory.
Post-match, the reigning NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov ran to the ring and went after Corbin. As Dragunov was going for his ‘Torpedo Moscow’ finisher, Corbin countered it into an ‘End of Days’.
While Corbin was making his way to the backstage area, Dragunov got on the microphone and told Corbin that since he wants an NXT Title match, he’ll get his shot at the Deadline Premium Live Event on December 9th. With that challenge being issued, here’s the updated lineup for Deadline:
- Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge: Dijak vs. Trick Williams vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD
