The B Block of NJPW’s World Tag League sees a three-way tie for first place after the latest card.
Friday’s event in Yamanashi saw the team of Yuya Uemura & Taichi, Lance Archer & Alex Zayne, and Soberano Jr. & Atlantis Jr. extend their records to 2-0 each holding four points during the first week of the tournament.
The main event saw Uemura & Taichi defeat STRONG Openweight Tag Champions El Phantasmo & Hikuelo after Taichi hit Black Mephisto and pinned ELP.
Archer & Zayne beat IWGP Tag Team Champions Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI after Archer hit the Blackout on Goto and scored the win for his team.
Yuji Nagata & Minoru Suzuki are 0-2 after their latest loss coming to Yota Tsuji & Zandokan Jr. after Tsuji used Vamos Amigo on Nagata.
Soberano Jr. & Atlantis Jr. toppled Bad Luck Fale & Jack Bonza with Atlantis Jr. hitting a top rope splash on Bonza.
