Seth Rollins addresses CM Punk’s WWE return at house show in Peoria, Illinois

Rollins adds that he’s not going to waste anymore breath on Punk. 

The final shot of WWE’s 2023 Survivor Series Premium Live Event was of CM Punk, who made his return to the company following the men’s WarGames match.

After the show ended, videos were posted onto social media of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins shouting and throwing up his middle finger at Punk. Rollins was being held back by commentators Michael Cole and Corey Graves. 

WWE held a house show in Peoria, Illinois on 11/26 and following Rollins’ title defense against Drew McIntyre, he spoke to the audience in attendance and addressed Punk’s comeback (video courtesy of @CurrentlyCoyne): 

You already know how I feel about that. I said as much last night (at Survivor Series). I’m not gonna waste any more breath on somebody who’s been gone for eight years, has done nothing but try to tear this place down. Instead, I wanna take my time, waste my breath, use my breath and talk about the people who’ve been here all along. That’s everybody in the back who’s made WWE the hottest ticket in town…
