Lee beats the odds.
In order to get a shot at Dominik Mysterio’s NXT North American Championship, Wes Lee had to win a Fatal 4-Way that consisted of former North American Champions. Lee competed against Johnny Gargano, Bronson Reed and Cameron Grimes.
Towards the conclusion of the bout, Ivar of the Viking Raiders made his presence felt and went after Reed. The two talents brawled on the 11/27 Monday Night Raw and their match resulted in a double count out.
When the match was left to Lee, Gargano and Grimes, it was Lee who connected with his ‘Kardiak Kick’ finisher to Grimes to secure the win and a North American Title match at Deadline.
It is official that Lee will get his shot at the December 9th Premium Live Event. Here’s the updated event lineup:
