Scheduled for the December 5th edition of NXT on USA Network are two last chance Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying matches. Carmelo Hayes, Tyler Bate, Joe Coffey and Eddy Thorpe are competing in a Fatal 4-Way along with Roxanne Perez, Thea Hail, Fallon Henley and Kiana James. The winners of those two matches will have secured the final spots in the respective men’s and women’s Iron Survivor Challenge at the Deadline Premium Live Event.

Kiana James and Eddy Thorpe both lost their Iron Survivor Challenge qualifiers on the 11/28 NXT. Roxanne distracted Kiana in her bout against Kelani Jordan and she lost the match as a result. Bron Breakker defeated Eddy Thorpe in their one-on-one bout.

With the ‘controversy’ and ‘allegations’ surrounding Chase University, Andre Chase, alongside Duke Hudson, Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne, held a press conference. Chase stated that all accusations about the university are true and added that Chase U. is in debt. He cited gambling as one of the reasons why and said the amount of money he owes is ‘significant’.

A video message aired from Joe Gacy while he was under the ring. During Arianna Grace and Karmen Petrovic’s singles match, Gacy popped out from underneath the ring, grabbed the ring bell and took off with it. When Grace defeated Petrovic, Gacy reemerged and rung the bell.

In the show opener, The Family (Tony D’Angelo & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) defeated Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo to retain the NXT Tag Team Championships.

Taking place on the 12/5 program is a six-person tag that will see Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis & Maxxine Dupri) versus Meta-Four (Noam Dar, Lash Legend & Oro Mensah).
