REPORT: Jamahal Hill arrested for domestic violence involving his brother

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill was arrested earlier this week for an alleged incident involving his brother.

TMZ Sports reports that the 32-year-old UFC fighter is facing one count of misdemeanor aggravated domestic violence.

Hill was booked in Kent County Jail this past Monday and released later that evening with court documents obtained by TMZ identifying the victims as his brother, James Anthony Hill Jr.

Hill is accused of inflicting “serious or aggravated injury upon him (Hill Jr.)”.

A hearing on the matter is scheduled for next month.

Hill won the vacant UFC light heavyweight championship by defeating Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 this past January. Due to injury, Hill was forced to vacate the championship earlier this year after suffering a ruptured Achilles tendon.
