Tony Khan speaks about Ric Flair’s set up with AEW.

On the road to Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024, Ric Flair is going to be a part of the journey and has signed a multi-year contract with All Elite Wrestling.

Thus far, Flair has been featured in backstage and in-ring segments with Sting. He cornered Sting, Adam Copeland and Darby Allin for their trios match at Full Gear.

While speaking about Sting’s retirement tour, AEW President Tony Khan told the New York Post that AEW is being paid for Flair’s appearances by his Wooooo! Energy drink business. Khan added that AEW is not paying Flair.

We’re (AEW) not paying Ric Flair; Ric Flair is essentially paying us. We’re getting paid by Wooooo! Energy for all of his appearances, so we’re collecting revenue from them.

AEW Revolution 2024 is taking place on March 3rd from the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, North Carolina.
