Far Too Long
Renee Paquette is on the stage and brings out Roderick Strong & The Kingdom, as Strong has asked for this time. Strong talks about it being obvious that MJF will backstab Samoa Joe, but Joe is a big boy and actions have consequences and tonight Joe will put his hand on a hot stove and it will burn. Renee asks if MJF isn’t the man he thinks he is, as Strong calls her crazy and says he is in this wheelchair because of the decisions he’s made. Strong says he will live with the consequences of his decisions until now, as he stands up and says he will no longer be held back by this wheelchair, that Matt Taven tosses off the stage. Strong says the wheelchair held him back for ‘far too long’.
Is Hangman The Devil?
After the break, Renee is in front of MJF’s locker room before ‘Hangman’ Adam Page walks in and says he couldn’t fly for a couple of weeks after his match with Swerve Strickland. Page brings up what Swerve did at his home and he can concede after losing, and Swerve has beaten him. At Full Gear, he took something from Swerve he will never get back and they are bound by something bigger than both of them and this is not over. Page knows what Swerve wants and he promises that he will never have it. MJF walks in and says their match was impressive to see their battle on ‘who will get more STDs’, but Page stops and leaves. MJF makes a dig about Page putting people to sleep, as Page walks back in the picture. MJF says the last time they were eye-to-eye was when he verbally bent him over in front of Bret Hart. MJF brings up beating Page for the Dynamite Diamond Ring as Page says he went and became World Champion instead. MJF makes fun of Page’s reign as Page says MJF will be 70 years old by himself telling his ninth cat about his title reign. MJF says if there is one guy he thinks is the devil, it’s Page. Page is offended by this and says it’s probably just MJF and tells him to be honest with him. They get into each other’s faces, as Samoa Joe splits them up and says they have other issues tonight and it doesn’t involve Page.
