Okada, who infamously played the role of “Okato” during his excursion to TNA over a decade ago, has been added to the January 14 event in Las Vegas, Nevada on the night after NJPW’s Battle in the Valley show in San Jose.

Okada’s handling by TNA during his run was so poorly received that it led to years of ill feelings on behalf of NJPW, which have softened over the years with this announcement being symbolic of the evolution of their relations.
Both Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada have been announced for Snake Eyes, which takes place at The Palms in Las Vegas.
