It is official that on the January 1st, 2024 episode of Monday Night Raw, Seth Rollins is going to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. At the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event, Rollins defeated McIntyre to retain the championship.

There are going to be two Tag Title matches on the 12/18 Raw. Judgment Day’s Finn Bálor and Damian Priest are putting their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles on the line against The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed). The duo of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven are defending their Women’s Tag Team Championships against Kayden Carter and Katana Chance.

On the 12/11 Raw, The Miz, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa teamed up to defeat Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci). Afterwards, Miz demanded a shot at GUNTHER’s Intercontinental Championship. GUNTHER granted the request, but said when Miz loses, he can no longer challenge for the belt as long as he is champion.

Backstage, CM Punk ran into Adam Pearce and Drew McIntyre. Following Punk and McIntyre’s exchange, Punk reunited with his former tag partner, Kofi Kingston. He then had interactions with Chad Gable and Ricochet. Punk told Gable that he’s heard a lot about him and added that he’s heard Ricochet is bad at video games.

In the main event, Shinsuke Nakamura and Cody Rhodes’ singles match resulted in a disqualification after Nakamura misted Rhodes. He was going to follow up by beating Rhodes down with a chair, but Julius and Brutus Creed made the save. As Rhodes was being held up by referees, Nakamura ran back down and kneed him in the chest.
