The semifinals are locked in for the NXT men’s Breakout tournament. Lexis King scored a win over Dion Lennox to advance out of the first round and he’ll be facing Riley Osborne next. After King’s victory, Trey Bearhill, who Lexis attacked and replaced in the tournament, made his way to the ring but King left the premises before Bearhill could get to him. Tavion Heights picked up a win over Luca Crusifino to advance to the semifinals where he’ll be taking on Oba Femi.

The rivalry between Tiffany Stratton and Fallon Henley continued to intensify. Fallon defeated Stratton in singles competition and afterwards, Stratton beat her down and dumped trash on Henley. Stratton called Henley out for New Year’s Evil on January 2nd and proposed the stakes that if she wins, Henley will have to become her servant.

Ahead of Trick Williams’ NXT Championship match at New Year’s Evil, Carmelo Hayes approached him with the idea of being added to the bout to make it a Triple Threat. Trick was not on board but he wants Hayes to help him train for the match against Ilja Dragunov.

For the second week in a row, Dragon Lee successfully retained the North American Championship. He bested Charlie Dempsey and Joe Coffey in a Triple Threat. Lee pinned Dempsey but there was a point in the match when Coffey was removed because Joe Gacy pulled him underneath the ring. Post-match, Dempsey, Drew Gulak, Myles Borne and Damon Kemp jumped Dragon Lee but making the save were LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro.

In the main event, Ridge Holland went one-on-one with Ilja Dragunov. The match resulted in a no contest as Dragunov was unable to continue after being hurt by Holland. Dragunov was stretchered out of the venue.

Among the matches set for the 12/26 NXT are Eddy Thorpe versus Dijak in NXT Underground. In addition to that, Noam Dar is putting the Heritage Cup on the line against Josh Briggs. Briggs told Brooks Jensen that he does not want him nor Fallon Henley at ringside when he challenges Dar although Meta-Four’s Jakara Jackson, Lash Legend and Oro Mensah will be in Dar’s corner.

It is official that Andre Chase and Duke Hudson are taking on O.T.M. (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) on 12/26. If O.T.M. wins, they get a shot at The Family (Tony D’Angelo & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) in an NXT Tag Title bout. If Hudson and Chase win, Chase said they’ll double the money they were up in the dice game against O.T.M. but if they lose, he’ll walk in with the money he has. Adriana Rizzo of The Family approved the Tag Team Title stakes. Andre Chase is attempting to build up funds for the Chase University debt.

Also scheduled for 12/26 is Cora Jade versus Karmen Petrovic.
