NXT experienced a minor drop for its taped episode that aired on Tuesday night.

The December 19 edition, which was taped last Wednesday, averaged 641,000 viewers and 223,000 (0.15) in the 18-49 demographic, per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics.

The viewership and 18-49 audience were both down by 6% from last week’s live episode.

The key difference was a rebound in NXT’s male 18-34 audience, which saw a major decline last week with only 44,000 in that demo and improved 43% this week to 63,000. Overall, the 18-34 demo was up 29% from last week with 102,000.

Adults 35-49 saw a drop from 157,000 to 121,000 or 23% from last week.

In Canada, the show averaged approximately 82,000 viewers and 24,000 in the 25-54 demographic on Sportsnet 360. It did not rank among the top ten sports broadcasts on Tuesday, which was led by the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. New York Rangers.

Next Tuesday’s show is also a taped edition and will include an NXT Underground match between Eddy Thorpe and Dijak, as well as the semi-finals of the Men’s Breakout Tournament.
