Stephen Amell insisted on losing to Christopher Daniels at ALL IN, he would only agree to do match if he lost

He had one condition before agreeing to do the match.

The fourth match on the 2018 ALL IN card was Christopher Daniels going one-on-one with ‘Arrow’ lead actor, Stephen Amell. Their bout was officiated by Jerry Lynn and the match went 12 minutes with Daniels coming out on top.

Amell did a virtual signing for Highspots and he described ALL IN as one of the great days in his life. He shared that his one condition before agreeing to do the match was that he had to lose. Initially, Daniels was against that but Amell remained persistent. Daniels thought there would be some form of trickery involved but Amell wanted to lose clean.

ALL IN, one of the great days of my life… That was my thing with Christopher Daniels. I only agreed to the match if I lost. He’s like, ‘Absolutely not,’ and I said, ‘Chris, I’m not doing the match — I have to lose’ and he goes, ‘How? Like chicanery?’ And I go, ‘Nope. Center of the ring. One, two, three…’ Absolutely not (didn’t want any chicanery). I wanna lose fair and square and I got the near fall too. I hit him with ‘Perfect Plex’ and like a one, two, aww, which is the highlight of my wrestling career.

The next time an All In event would take place was under the AEW banner. In August, Wembley Stadium in London, England played host to All In and the company is returning to the stadium for the 2024 installment of the pay-per-view.
