Runa Okubo taking time off from TJPW after 1/4 show to focus on high school entrance exams

She’ll return to TJPW several months afterwards. 

Korakuen Hall is hosting Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s January 4th event which is going to feature three championship matches and the return of AEW’s Riho. 

Also on the bill is a tag match that’ll feature Haru Kazashiro and Ryo Mizunami taking on Mizuki and 15-year-old Runa Okubo. TJPW shared that after the 1/4 show, Okubu, who is in junior high school, will be taking time off to focus on her high school entry exams. 

After taking her exams, she is penciled in to come back to TJPW in March. Okubo debuted for TJPW in March 2023.
