Spears is wrapping up with All Elite Wrestling.
Taking to his X account, Shawn Spears confirmed that he is departing All Elite Wrestling. Spears thanked the company and noted that the decision is a personal choice of his and it is what is best for him and his family.

What a wonderful time it has been.
Thank you @AEW for allowing me to be there from the ground level. It’s been a fantastic 5 years of growth and personal development.
This is a personal choice and one that is best for me and my family at this time.

Spears has been with AEW since 2019 and debuted at their inaugural event, Double or Nothing. He last competed for the company at All Out 2023 in the Over Budget Charity Battle Royal.
Spears and Cassie Lee welcomed their baby boy into the world in January and the couple are now expecting another child.
