Maika is now on top.

Headlining STARDOM’s Dream Queendom event at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall was Maika and Suzu Suzuki competing for the vacant World of Stardom Championship.

Emerging victorious from the match was Maika, who is now the 17th wrestler to be crowned World of Stardom Champion. While Maika was backstage speaking to the press, she was approached by Himeka. At the age of 25, Himeka retired from in-ring competition and her last match was at All-Star Grand Queendom in April 2023.

Prior to Maika becoming champion, Tam Nakano was in possession of the title but had to vacate it. She’s been sidelined with a knee injury but was present at Dream Queendom.

Nakano assured the fans that she will be back in action. Nakano spoke about her recovery from injury at length and that can be read here.
