Miro receives assist from CJ Perry in win over Andrade El Idolo at AEW Worlds End

C.J. Perry assists her husband to victory.

The second match on the AEW Worlds End main card was a singles bout between Miro and Andrade El Idolo. Andrade was accompanied to the ring by C.J. Perry, who has been persistent in taking on new clients to manage despite her husband Miro disapproving.

While El Idolo had Miro locked in a Figure-Eight Leglock, C.J. swiped at his hands which knocked El Idolo out of position. When he turned around, Miro delivered a kick to his face but that did not secure a three count, so Miro put Andrade in the ‘Game Over’ submission to get the win.

Perry then blew Miro a kiss and showed support for him post-match.

It was first reported by WrestlePurists that Andrade is expected to finish up with AEW at Worlds End. The site added that a WWE source expects El Idolo to be back in WWE ‘imminently’. Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp corroborated the report.
