Samoa Joe wins AEW World Title at Worlds End, Adam Cole reveals himself as ‘The Devil’

It all came crashing down for MJF.

Headlining AEW’s Worlds End pay-per-view was Samoa Joe challenging MJF for the AEW Worlds Championship. Before the match began, Adam Cole made his way to the ring to support MJF.

The support from Cole was not enough as Samoa Joe would submit MJF with the Coquina Clutch to become the new AEW World Champion.

Joe took his newly won title and headed backstage as Cole consoled MJF in the ring. The Devil’s henchmen then made their way to ringside and went after MJF and Cole. On the 12/27 Dynamite, Joe revealed he’d been working with The Devil and cost MJF the ROH World Tag Team Titles that he was holding for himself and the injured Adam Cole.

As the henchmen were about to take a chair to Cole, the lights went out and when they came back on, Cole was sitting in the chair and the masked men revealed themselves to be Roderick Strong, Wardlow and the newly crowned ROH World Tag Team Champions, Mike Bennett and Matt Taven.

They then beat down MJF and stood together in unison over the now-former AEW World Champion MJF.
