Takeshita is returning to All Japan.

As All Japan Pro Wrestling’s January 3rd show was underway, it was announced that at their 1/27 event, Konosuke Takeshita will be making his return to the company.

Takeshita has not wrestled under the AJPW banner since 2016. The current AEW and DDT talent is going to be in tag team action. He’ll be teaming with Hideki Okatani to take on Yuma Aoyagi and Atsuki Aoyagi.

It is being promoted as a DDT versus All Japan match and it’ll be taking place at Esforta Arena Hachiōji in Hachioji, Japan.

Over the weekend at AEW Worlds End, Takeshita was on the losing end of an eight-man tag. Takeshita, Powerhouse Hobbs and AEW World Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill fell in defeat to Sting, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara and Chris Jericho.
