The NXT men’s Breakout tournament wrapped up at New Year’s Evil when Riley Osborne and Oba Femi met in the finals.
Near the conclusion of the match, Osborne picked up the momentum but when he went for his Shooting Star Press, Femi countered with knees to the gut. It was there that Femi regained control of the match and put Osborne away.
With the victory, Femi now has a contract that’ll guarantee him a title shot of his choosing whenever he wants it. Femi joins A.C.H. and Carmelo Hayes as past winners of the men’s portion of the tournament.
