Due to the flu, MAO is sidelined.

DDT Pro-Wrestling provided an update on MAO, who the promotion noted had developed symptoms of a fever. It has since been determined that MAO has the flu.

He is now off the January 5th, 6th and 7th DDT events. MAO is a KO-D 10-Man Tag Team Champion and was scheduled to be in a title match on the 5th.

There is going to be an alternate filling in for him. Per the 10-Man Tag Title rules, only three of the five champions need to participate in the match in order for it to be an eligible title defense.

MAO is also the reigning DDT Universal Champion.
