Ibushi takes to his X account to provide an update.
Coming out of Pro Wrestling NOAH ‘The New Year 2024’, Kota Ibushi was transported to a hospital due injuries to his ankles. He wrestled in the main event of the show against Naomichi Marufuji for 30 minutes.
Earlier in the day on 1/5, Ibushi posted a message onto his X account and apologized for his performance in the aforementioned main event. He posted a new tweet and noted that the inside of his left ankle has been messed up and he’s opting to undergo surgery.
Since coming back from his shoulder injury, Ibushi has wrestled in a total of eight matches since 2023.
He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling.
