Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Randy Orton, LA Knight and AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble.
The fatal four-way match was made by SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis after a No. 1 contender match broke down in chaos on Friday’s episode of SmackDown.
Orton, Knight and Styles were set to compete in a triple-threat match to determine Reigns’ next challenger. However, Reigns and The Bloodline appeared during the match in an attempt to take out all three of the competition.
In the aftermath, Nick Aldis told Paul Heyman that he was making the fatal four-way defense for the Royal Rumble PLE, which takes place on Saturday, January 27th.
In a digital exclusive video posted to social media after the broadcast, Reigns told Heyman to “fix this” after being informed of the stipulation.
