Scheduled for the 1/16 WWE NXT is a 20-woman Battle Royal. The final four remaining talents will compete in a Fatal 4-Way with the winner advancing to NXT Vengeance Day on 2/4 to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship. Competing in the match are the following names: Stevie Turner, Nikkita Lyons, Blair Davenport, Jaida Parker, Fallon Henley, Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Arianna Grace, Kiana James, Karmen Petrovic, Elektra Lopez, Brinley Reece, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Lash Legend, Lola Vice and Tatum Paxley.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament began. The duo of Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker defeated Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) to move on to the semifinals. Joining them will be Axiom and Nathan Frazer, who bounced Hank Walker and Tank Ledger out of the tournament. On 1/16, Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes are taking on Edris Enofe and Malik Blade along with L.W.O. (Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro) facing Chase University’s Duke Hudson and Riley Osborne in first-round matches.

As OTM’s Lucien Price and Bronco Nima were clashing with The Family (Tony D’Angelo & Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) over the NXT Tag Team Titles, SCRYPTS accidentally hit a crossbody onto Price. D’Angelo and ‘Stacks’ went on to retain. Later in the show, O.T.M. were approached by Jaida Parker, who said she’s the missing piece to their puzzle.

Tiffany Stratton began working at Fallon Henley’s ranch and multiple videos of that aired throughout the show.

Doing the voiceover for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic video package was Cody Rhodes.

Adding to the lineup for 1/16 is Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez versus Tatum Paxley and NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria. Vice, Lopez and Paxley will be pulling double duty as they’ll also be in the Battle Royal.

Opening up the show was a grudge match between Blair Davenport and Nikkita Lyons. Davenport came out on top.
