Gabe Kidd calls out the NJPW President.

The next event on the docket for New Japan Pro-Wrestling is Battle in the Valley on 1/13 from San Jose, California. One of the bouts on the marquee is Eddie Kingston defending the AEW Continental Crown against Gabe Kidd.

Going into the match, Kidd was interviewed by MuscleManMalcolm. He was asked about the report from Fightful Select that his contract is expiring this month. He went on to call out NJPW President Hiroshi Tanahashi to put some ‘love and energy’ into his next offer or he’ll be going where the money is.

Yeah, I have a comment: Mind your f*cking business (Kidd reacted the report of his NJPW contract coming up). That’s my business between me and New Japan. But if you wanna talk about that, I’ll say only this, I’ll say this and only this, President Tanahashi, Hiroshi Tanahashi, you better put some real love and energy into my contract offer or I’m gonna go where the money is, you get me? I’m about money and beating people up and that’s it.

Kidd is scheduled for the upcoming New Beginning tour that starts on January 20th. He’ll be in action on February 11th in Osaka, Japan as well.
