A new slate of roles for Mickie James.
Ohio Valley Wrestling issued a press release to announce that Mickie James is joining the promotion and taking on a slate of roles.
She’ll serve as the Creative Director, Head of Female Talent and Executive Producer for all OVW shows. In addition to those roles, James is going to be a part of an exclusive TV series focused on female empowerment in professional wrestling.
The press release included comments from OVW CEO Al Snow and lead commentator and producer, Bryan Kennison.
James took a break from in-ring action after her Knockouts World Championship match with Trinity Fatu at IMPACT Bound For Glory. Her husband Nick Aldis is now with WWE in an on-screen General Manager role on SmackDown.
When Mickie was first signed to her WWE developmental contract in 2004, she was a part of the OVW talent roster.
