One more fight is in Butterbean’s sights.

Throughout his pro fighting career, Eric Esch a.k.a. Butterbean has fought in boxing, kickboxing and MMA. In boxing, he tallied up a 77-10-4 record, 3-4 record in kickboxing and 17-10 in MMA. His overall fight record is 97-24-5.

After losing 200 pounds with help from Diamond Dallas Page, Butterbean expressed that he’s looking to do one more fight. He did a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest and spoke publicly about his desire to fight one last time.

He shared that there’s a name from the wrestling community that’s been discussed as a potential opponent. Another name he’d like to fight is Mike Tyson. He added that it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Tyson is one of four names that have been contacted about being his opponent.

I got one last fight we’re gonna do. We’re not sure exactly who we’re gonna fight. A lot of talks of several big names… There’s one of ‘em in the wrestling community that’s been brought up several times.

I’ll tell you who I’d love to fight and I always haven’t was (Mike) Tyson and it’s very possible he could be one of the four that we’re talking with now. So, it’s not out of the realm yet.

Butterbean has had multiple stints in pro wrestling. He is often associated with his fight against Bart Gunn at WrestleMania 15.

His fight against Gunn was documented on the ‘Brawl For All’ episode of Dark Side of the Ring.
