Jon Moxley vs. Tetsuya Naito made official for NJPW STRONG Windy City Riot

Mox and Shingo went to war.

Prior to the main event of NJPW Battle in the Valley, Shingo Takagi and Jon Moxley clashed in a No-DQ match. During the bout, Takagi used mist on Moxley in addition to his signature moves but that was not enough to secure the victory.

In the end, it was Moxley emerging victorious after hitting a ‘Death Rider’ onto Takagi through a chair.

Post-match, Moxley grabbed a microphone and said there’s one name on his mind that he wants to call out. He then went on to put IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito on notice.

Soon after, it was made official that Moxley and Naito are scheduled to go one-on-one at NJPW Windy City Riot on April 12th. As of this writing, here’s the updated lineup for the event:

  • Hiromu Takahashi vs. Mustafa Ali
  • Jon Moxley vs. Tetsuya Naito
