The UFC’s debut in Saudi Arabia is being postponed.
The March 2 card is going to be postponed with a targeted debut in the country set for June, according to Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.
Helwani cited that “the powers that be in Saudi Arabia want a more entertaining fight card, they want a deeper fight card with bigger names on it (and) weren’t too pleased with what was being offered.”

In December, TKO President & Chief Marketing Officer Mark Shapiro spoke at the UBS Global Media and Communications Conference and stated that the UFC was being paid approximately $20 million to bring a Fight Night card to the country this year.
The UFC has yet to confirm the postponement.
