Joe speaks about some of the hardest hitters he’s shared the ring with.

It has nearly been a month since Samoa Joe bested MJF in the main event of the Worlds End pay-per-view to become AEW World Champion. Joe’s first successful title defense took place on the 1/17 Dynamite against HOOK.

Going into the bout, Joe made the media rounds and he was interviewed by Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report. He named his Mount Rushmore of hardest hitters he’s been in the ring with and on that list are: Kenta Kobashi, Mitsuharu Misawa, Wardlow, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

The list is a Mount Rushmore of some of the most dangerous people in the world. You start from (Kenta) Kobashi and (Mitsuharu) Misawa. Young Wardlow. He hits like a truck. Brock Lesnar hits like a truck. Roman Reigns hits like a truck. There’s tons of people around the sphere of wrestling who all hit hard, and I’ve felt all that power, but they don’t hit as hard as me.

After Joe retained his title over HOOK, both Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland made their presences felt and continued to signal that they’re gunning after the World Title.
