Changes made to the tour.

On Thursday, New Japan Pro-Wrestling revealed that Kazuchika Okada’s contract expires on January 31st and after fulfilling his dates on The New Beginning tour, he will be departing the company

In wake of that news, New Japan changed around the lineups for several shows. Originally, Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Tomohiro Ishii were scheduled to defend their NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Titles against T.M.D.K. (Kosei Fujita, Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) on February 11th.

That match is now taking place on January 24th at Korakuen Hall. It is now official that on the February 11th show in Osaka, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Okada are going one-on-one.

In their one-on-one matchups dating back to 2010, Okada has eight wins to Tanahashi’s five and there’s been three time-limit draws between them.
