Megan Bayne departing STARDOM: “I don’t want this to be goodbye”

Her full-time run in STARDOM comes to a close.

The January 21st STARDOM event emanated from Takadanobaba in Tokyo, Japan and on the bill was a trios match that saw NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia, Suzu Suzuki and Mei Seira take on HANAKO, Megan Bayne and World of Stardom Champion Maika.

The latter team were on the losing end of the bout and in her backstage comments, Megan Bayne confirmed that she is departing STARDOM. She is sad to be leaving but added that she’ll be coming back.

These past six months here in STARDOM have changed me as a person, as a wrestler and I’m very sad to be leaving. But, I don’t wanna be sad and I don’t want this to be goodbye because I’m not finished here and we’re (Bayne & Maika) not finished. Divine Kingdom is forever. I’ll be coming back.

In 2023, Fightful Select learned that Megan Bayne is under contract to All Elite Wrestling. Outside of dark matches and appearances on AEW Dark and Elevation, she has not appeared for the company on television.

Bayne has consistently been working in STARDOM since the summer of 2023.
