Seth Rollins confirms MCL tear & partially torn meniscus, intends on making it to WWE WrestleMania 40

Kicking off Raw was an update from Rollins.

Starting off the Royal Rumble go-home edition of Monday Night Raw, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins appeared to address his injury.

Rollins suffered a knee injury during his title defense against Jinder Mahal on 1/15. It occurred when he did a springboard moonsault and his knee landed directly on the canvas. Rollins confirmed that he suffered a grade two MCL tear and a partially torn meniscus.

He added that with surgery, there’s a three-to-four month recovery period. Before he could continue, he was interrupted by WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER.

After some back and forth, Rollins said he intends on making it to WrestleMania 40. GUNTHER followed up by saying he’s going to win the men’s Royal Rumble and he’ll be coming after Rollins.
