The injury was confirmed by Wato.
On night two of NJPW Road to New Beginning at Korakuen Hall, Master Wato appeared on crutches. He was scheduled to go one-on-one with SHO, but Wato revealed that he’s sidelined with a torn ACL.
He will be undergoing surgery and promised to come back when he’s healed and he’ll take on SHO.
Before Wato could exit the ring, he was ambushed by his scheduled opponent.
