The UFC will debut in Saudi Arabia this June after the initial show postponement.
Ariel Helwani first reported that the March 2 event in Riyadh was being postponed with the reporting stating it was being targeted for June due to the card not being strong enough for that date.
Official Turki Alalshikh shared a press release on Wednesday confirming the show’s postponement and the new date of Saturday, June 22 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

The press release states, “A decision to reschedule was taken to ensure the best caliber of talent will be available to participate.
UFC CEO Dana White added “This is just going to be a type of card that we’ve never done before, it’s going: every fight is a must-see fight” and that “a couple of fight that we want to line up they weren’t ready to go, so we pushed the card back because we are going to deliver.”
No fights have been announced yet for the June 22 event.
