Ripley is expecting her home country crowd to get her emotional.

The next WWE main roster Premium Live Event is Elimination Chamber on February 24th from Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia. One of the talents advertised for the show is WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who hails from Adelaide, Australia.

Ripley told Lucha Libre Online during an interview that she thinks her home country crowd will make her emotional. She compared it to the moment Zelina Vega had in Puerto Rico at Backlash 2023

It feels amazing (to know I’ll be at Elimination Chamber in Australia). I am so excited to feel the energy from the crowd because I feel like it’s just going to be so electric and it’s going to — hopefully, I don’t cry but I feel like it’s gonna make me cry. It’ll be like a full circle moment where I end up in Zelina Vega’s shoes when she came out in Puerto Rico. It’s gonna be my version of that and I’m so excited.

This past Monday on Raw, Ripley was ambushed from behind by Nia Jax. As of this writing, there has yet to be match announcements made for Elimination Chamber.
