AEW Dynamite wrapped up January with a dip in its audience but a big decline among its 18-34 demographic.

The January 31 episode from New Orleans averaged 818,000 viewers and 337,000 (0.26) in the 18-49 demographic, per Wrestlenomics.

The audience fell by 2% and the 18-49 drop was 7% from the previous week’s episode and the show’s lowest numbers in both categories since January 3.

In the 18-49 demographic, males fell from 254,000 to 236,000 viewers while women had an uptick from 96,000 to 101,000.

In the 18-34 demo, it was a notable decrease from 158,000 to 111,000 or 30% from last week and was Dynamite’s lowest audience in this demo since June 15, 2022. Males in the demo dropped 29% from last week and females fell by 31%.

Adults 35-49 did not see that same impact with a jump from 203,000 to 236,000 this week or 11%.

In Canada, Dynamite averaged 120,700 viewers and 58,800 in the 25-54 demographic on TSN 2, with the audience down 4% and the demo dropping by 7% from last week.

Dynamite ranked third among sports programming on Wednesday in Canada behind the Ottawa Senators vs. Detroit Red Wings and Sportsnet Central Prime.
