2024 men’s Dusty Classic winners are determined.
Kicking off the NXT Vengeance Day Premium Live Event was the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament. The duos of Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams and Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker clashed.
The closing sequence of the match saw Williams take out Corbin with a neckbreaker. Bron was lining Williams up for a spear, but Carmelo Hayes noticed it and jumped in front of it. Williams was on the outside of the ring, but Hayes was the legal man and Breakker pinned him to secure the victory.
It was in 2015 that Corbin lost in the finals of the first-ever Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and nine years later, he won the tournament.
Trick Williams is scheduled to headline Vengeance Day in an NXT Championship match against Ilja Dragunov.
