Fatu says there’s nothing ‘weird’ regarding why he hasn’t been able to wrestle outside of USA.
Throughout his in-ring career, Jacob Fatu has yet to wrestle outside of the USA. In January, he made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut at Battle in the Valley in San Jose, California.
While doing a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, Fatu confirmed that him wrestling outside of the U.S.A. is in the works. He added that there’s nothing ‘weird’ regarding why he has not been able to do so.
Nah (I haven’t wrestled in Japan yet). I have worked for New Japan, but never left the States. We in the works of that. Don’t worry y’all. Ain’t no weird stuff (regarding) why I can’t leave the States. We in the works right now but, overall, everything’s going good. Shoutout to Rocky Romero, shoutout to West Coast Wrecking Crew, Tom Lawlor, shoutout to Fred (Rosser), shoutout to everybody at New Japan who welcomed me with open arms there; Eddie Kingston, Matt Riddle, everybody so, love and respect. Will Ospreay, 100.
Fatu was in action at MLW SuperFight on 2/3 against Yuji Nagata. He confirmed that it was his last match for the organization.
