** Guest appearing on Talk Is Jericho was Darius Martin, Dante Martin and Action Andretti. Darius looked back on the period of Top Flight’s AEW run when he was sidelined and Dante was on his solo run. He was happy to see his brother shining and feels Dante has potential to be one of the best wrestlers in the world.

I was injured at the time too so I was watching that little moment from home and it was cool seeing that (Dante getting his solo AEW run)… Not really, I don’t think (it was hard watching while injured) because, I don’t know, we’re still so young that we have all the time in the world. I think a lot of people think we’re injury prone but, listen, if we’d been wrestling for 10 years and these are kind of our first injuries and we’re still so young… It’s just cool to see my little brother doing that, because I know how crazy he is and how athletic he is. I know that he has the potential to be one of the best wrestlers in the world so it’s cool to see that sort of pan out in real time.

** As Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were making the media rounds to promote their new reality show on Hulu, they were interviewed by Adrian Hernandez. Ford recounted his dark match against John Cena following the 9/22 WWE SmackDown. He expressed how much that meant to him and getting to share the ring with Rey Mysterio that same night on TV.

I was the same way you felt. I didn’t know that was gonna happen either (Ford said about his dark match against John Cena in 2023). It was amazing though. John Cena, I can sit here and talk about ages, years and times and how he’s inspired me, inspired someone else, inspired someone I know, inspired someone that’s still watching, inspire someone that’s not in the wrestling realm and he, to a lot of people is the goat and for me to have the opportunity to face someone I watched as a child and idolized as well and being on the same level as in competing in a one-on-one match with him, it’s unprecedented man and I just remember going, ‘I can’t f’ing believe this is happening,’ you know what I’m saying? This little tadpole that’s running around in Chicago and North Carolina with these WWE championships is now in the ring with arguably, to some people, the greatest of all-time and it was just mind-blowing man and still to this day, I go back because my pictures will pop up on my timeline on iPhone and I’ll see it and I’ll be like, ‘Jesus, that happened.’

I had a tag match with Rey (Mysterio) and then I had the match at the end of the night with John. Same night, and a lot of people, when I came back, it’s like, ‘So you know you wrestled Rey Mysterio and John Cena in the same night. What’s going on?’ I was like, ‘Well, you know, they love me.’

** As Jacob Fatu was doing a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, he spoke highly of Jordan Oliver:

Shoutout to big dawg (Jordan Oliver). He overseas right now… he’s one of the cats to where, man you’re talking about young, hungry. Man, he done transformed himself into, okay… Jordan used to, like, man, I just ain’t no skinny white kid, you know? He done transformed himself so, yeah… not only that, the cool thing about Jordan at MLW, you know, Court (Bauer) and them will have us do promos. I start really tapping in with Jordan Oliver and Snoop (Strikes) and Myron Reed because they were actually working with the camera guy. Like, ‘No, no, no, here, shoot it like this.’ For them cats to be young like that and still do their thing but not be dumbasses and disrespectful, but they knew what they were doing so shoutout to J.O. man… And he got height. Just imagine till he get more weight on him. Oh, it’s gonna be a wrap.
