At the age of 21, Asahi passed away.

The Actwres girl’Z promotion in Japan shared the unfortunate news that 21-year-old Asahi passed away in an accident on February 1st. In wake of her passing, they canceled their February 9th show. The promotion thanked all who have supported her.

At the age of 14, Asahi made her in-ring debut for Ice Ribbon at Korakuen Hall. Her first match was against former All Japan Women’s Champion Manami Toyota.

There was a point in 2020 when she decided to take a break from wrestling as she was balancing the sport and school. She returned to the ring the following year.

In 2023, Asahi ended her contract with Ice Ribbon to join Actwres girl’Z. She initially requested to go to Actwres on loan for three-to-six months but opted to officially join the promotion.

Her last match was on January 31st.

POST Wrestling would like to send our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Asahi.
