Updated lineup for the 2/5 NJPW show.

Due to a left thigh injury, Jeff Cobb was pulled from the February 4th NJPW Road to The New Beginning Show and he is still nursing that injury so he will not be at the 2/5 show at Korakuen Hall.

At the aforementioned 2/4 event, United Empire’s HENARE and BULLET CLUB War Dogs’ Gabe Kidd battled in a 20-minute match that resulted in a double knockout. Due to the damage both talents suffered, they are off the 2/5 show. Here’s the formal announcement from NJPW about the injuries:

Thank you for supporting New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

In the wake of events on February 4’s Road to New Beginning card, changes have been made to tonight’s event in Korakuen Hall.

Due to damage incurred in their singles match last night, Gabe Kidd and HENARE are not cleared for competition tonight. Additionally, Jeff Cobb will be absent following an attack after the main event by BULLET CLUB War Dogs.

Katsuya Murashima will now take on Shoma Kato in a special kickoff match at the earlier 6:10 PM local start time.

United Empire and BULLET CLUB War Dogs are at odds going into The New Beginning in Osaka where they will clash in a Steel Cage in what will be Will Ospreay’s final match for the company.
