Throughout the 2/5 Monday Night Raw broadcast, both Michael Cole and Pat McAfee repeatedly stated that Roman Reigns versus The Rock has yet to be made official for WrestleMania 40. Cole and McAfee are going to host the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event on February 8th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the opening segment between Cody Rhodes and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, there were ‘Rocky sucks’ and ‘We want Cody’ chants from the audience. The segment ended with Drew McIntyre headbutting Rollins but Rhodes took him out. Rhodes went on to tweet that he appreciates the support from the audience, but they have to trust him.

Appreciate the passion, God bless y’all

…but

Trust me

After suffering torn triceps at WWE Royal Rumble, a post-surgery update was provided on CM Punk. He stated that his comeback will be the best of all-time.

There was a Fatal 4-Way tag match that saw D.I.Y. (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) best Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci), The Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus Creed) and New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston). With the victory, D.I.Y. is heading to the 2/9 Friday Night SmackDown to take on Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne. The winners are going to challenge Finn Bálor and Damian Priest for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at Elimination Chamber.

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER agreed to defend the title against Jey Uso. A date has yet to be announced but on the 2/12 Raw, Imperium (GUNTHER, Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) are taking on Jey Uso, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Bron Breakker appeared on Raw to hear Adam Pearce’s contract offer. Breakker and Baron Corbin won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament at NXT Vengeance Day. Breakker is scheduled to appear on the 2/6 NXT on USA Network alongside Corbin.

Adam Pearce fined Drew McIntyre for attacking Seth Rollins who is not cleared to compete. He told McIntyre he’d get another fine if he saw him sporting his CM Punk-WrestleMania main event grave shirt again. The shirt is available on WWE Shop.

The duo of Kairi Sane and Asuka bested Katana Chance and Kayden Carter to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

In the main event of the 2/5 Raw, Cody Rhodes defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope match. Drew McIntyre took aim at Rhodes afterwards and laid him out.

Scheduled for the 2/12 Raw is a singles match between R-Truth and J.D. McDonagh.
