Ripley on the receiving end of praise from Bret Hart.

From April 11th through the 14th, Starrcast is going to be taking place in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Among those scheduled to appear is Bret Hart.

To promote his upcoming appearances and involvement with Starrcast Down Under, he was interviewed by FOX Sports Australia. Hart was asked about Australia’s own Rhea Ripley, who is on the marquee for WWE Elimination Chamber in Australia on February 24th.

Hart heaped praise onto her. He misses the realism in wrestling and feels the WWE Women’s World Champion brings that all the time.

I really like her (Rhea Ripley) a lot. I really like her poise, her staying in character and sort of living her — she seems like she’s adapted a character that’s fun to play, and she’s playing into that, full tilt. She’s putting that realism into it; that’s what I miss in a lot of wrestling today, just making it feel more real, and she makes it feel pretty real all the time.

Ripley was featured on the 2/5 Monday Night Raw and to hear a review of the show, check out John Pollock and Wai Ting’s latest Rewind-A-Raw recap.
