A Florida court has set a date for the next step in prosecuting Cash Wheeler for allegedly flashing a gun during a road rage incident.

The 36-year-old, real name Daniel Wheeler, was arrested in August 2023 in connection with the incident on July 27th.

He later appeared at Orange County jail, FL,  on August 18th for an initial appearance before a judge.

During that hearing, the offense was described as a “road rage type incident” during which Wheeler allegedly “flashed” a gun at the alleged victim.

The judge accepted the defense’s request for bond at $2,500 with no contact with the alleged victim and the surrender of any weapons. The state attorney did not object to those terms.

The Orange County Clerk of Courts website now lists an upcoming appearance, listed as an arraignment, on February 20th. It also details that police officer body-worn camera footage has been sent to defense counsel.

As of February 2nd, the charge against Wheeler remains listed as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Wheeler has pled not guilty to the charges.
