AEW talents Johnny TV and Taya Valkyrie will debut a romcom on the timely date of Valentine’s Day.
‘Johnny Loves Taya,’ a web series that will have “new episodes every week,” will air on AEW’s Youtube channel starting February 14th.
“We’re just your average pro wrestling, movie-making, LA-living, weapon-swinging, dog-loving, parkour-thrilling, dinner-hosting, party crashing, luchador-ing couple,” the two say during a trailer published Thursday.
The trailer includes interview segments with both Johnny TV and Valkyrie, making it seem like the series could follow a mockumentary style.
Johnny TV and Valkyrie have been part of AEW and ROH programming since 2023. They are presented as an on-screen couple but have also been married since 2018.
The duo are most frequently seen on ROH TV, where they are both active wrestlers. Johnny TV is currently in an active feud with ROH’s Dalton Castle, who has been clawing for a rematch with him since their November 2023 matchup.
