Satoshi Kojima’s absence from the NJPW ring has been extended.

Kojima is now expected to miss six of the seven events in NJPW’s Fantasticamania tour, as announced by the promotion Thursday.

The 53-year-old is currently nursing a left MCL injury. Earlier this week, he was withdrawn from the February 8 and 9 NJPW Road To The New Beginning cards due to the injury he suffered.

Kojima last appeared at MLW SuperFight 2024, where he dethroned Alex Kane in 11 minutes to win the promotion’s heavyweight title.

Tomoaki Honma has been announced to replace Kojima for the February 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17 cards. Ryusuke Taguchi will take his place on the 18th.

Kojima isn’t currently announced for the final Fantasticamania card, which will take place on February 19.
