Sol Ruca wrestles first match for NXT since knee surgery

Sol Ruca has wrestled her first match in an NXT ring since suffering an ACL injury in April 2023.

Fan footage on social media from an NXT live event on Friday night at Crystal River, Florida, showed her tagging with Brinley Reece in a loss to Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne.

The 24-year-old later posted her thoughts on X.

Ruca underwent knee surgery in May 2023. Her absence from television was explained in storyline as her being one of the victims of Blair Davenport’s string of backstage attacks.

Real name Calyx Hampton, she signed a developmental deal with WWE in March 2022. She defeated Amari Miller in her television debut match on NXT in September 2022.
