Sabre Jr. gets his win over Danielson.
The semi main-event of NJPW The New Beginning in Osaka was a rematch between Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. The two talents last clashed at AEW WrestleDream in October where Danielson came out on top.
In their second matchup, it was Sabre Jr. coming out on top as he was able to trap Danielson in a pin and hold him down for the three count.
Post-match, Sabre Jr. scooted over to Danielson and offered him his hand. Initially, Danielson got up and walked away but he came back, shook Sabre Jr.’s hand and raised it.
The score between Bryan and Zack is now at 1-1. Afterwards, Zack went to one of the cameras and stated that he is coming after Kazuchika Okada. Okada bested Hiroshi Tanahashi in their final match against one another earlier in the show.
Before Okada wraps up with New Japan, he will finish out The New Beginning tour.
