WWE Raw notes: Jimmy Uso interferes in Jey’s IC Title match, Michael Chandler calls out McGregor, McIntyre pins Rhodes

Closing out the 2/19 WWE Raw was Jey Uso challenging GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship. Uso had GUNTHER pinned following a top rope splash, but the bell was rung before the three count and it was Jimmy Uso behind it. Jey was able to regain control but he still fell in defeat to GUNTHER. Post-match, Jimmy beat his brother down. 

In the opening match, Drew McIntyre pinned Cody Rhodes. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa got involved and cost Rhodes the match. It was Cody’s first pin fall loss since WrestleMania 39

Via a vignette, it was confirmed that Andrade is going by ‘Andrade El Idolo’ in WWE. In his first go-round with the company, he was known as Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas. He went by the ‘El Idolo’ name in AEW. 

UFC’s Michael Chandler was ringside and got on the microphone and called out Conor McGregor. McGregor previously said he would fight Chandler. McGregor last fought at UFC 264 in the summer of 2021. 

Representatives from Netflix were seated behind the announcer’s desk. WWE’s deal with Netflix to air Raw on the streaming service officially begins January 2025. 

Scheduled for the 2/26 show are the following bouts: 

  • Street Fight: New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs. Imperium (Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci)
  • Sami Zayn vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Also in attendance was professional bull rider John Crimber and 9-0 boxer ‘King’ Callum Walsh.
